Computer Maintenance Information for the Home User
The hardware problems are usually caused by simple manufacturer fault (as in, it was going to fail at one point anyway) or a power surge. However, occasionally we can find a computer that is malfunctioning because of pet hair, dust or cigarette smoke. These three eventually find their way into the computers fans or heat sinks causing the computer to overheat and and malfunction. Some of these symptoms may include freezing up, slow operation, noisy fans, and more. All of the computers that come in for service at our facility are thoroughly cleaned out before they are returned back to their client.
